Thieves Steal Over 20 sheep from South Kashmir’s Shopian village

Cattle thieves stole over 20 sheep from a cowshed in a small hamlet of South Kashmir’s Shopian district. Sources told CNS that the theft incident occurred during the intervening night of July 6 and 7 at Mugalpora Keegam village.

While divulging the details locals told that one Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani son of Noor Muhammad Wani registered a complaint at police station claiming that thieves stole over 20 sheep from his shed located at Mugalpora Keegam village of Shopian.

The incidents of cattle theft have often occurred in the countryside area of Kashmir particularly twin districts of South Kashmir-Pulwama and Shopian district.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the complaint and registered a case in this regard and investigation is going on to nab the culprits.
