:SRINAGAR, Dr. A.G. Ahangar, Director, SKIMS, Srinagar today met Governor Shri Satya Pal Malik here at the Raj Bhavan and briefed him about the functioning of the SKIMS and various new initiatives taken for improving the overall health and medical education sector in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
The Governor underlined the high importance of the health sector and urged Dr. Ahangar to pay utmost attention to further improve the facilities in SKIMS, which is the premier health institution in Jammu and Kashmir. He also stressed on timely completion of various on-going projects undertaken by the SKIMS to upgrade various infrastructural facilities.
